XRP Market Activity and On-Chain Metrics

Transaction fees on the XRP Ledger also followed this growth. In late October 2024, fees peaked at $54,000 daily. From November to February, fees frequently ranged between $18,000 and $42,000. This mirrored increased network activity.XRP’s market cap and transaction fees stayed steady between April and June 2025,showing that the market was cooling and consolidating.

As of press time, the price of XRP stands at $2.83 with a 24-hour trading volume of $3.19 billion. XRP is up 0.19% in the last 24 hours but down 7.17% over the past 7 days.

Legal Clarity and SEC Case Resolution

Ripple’s long fight with the SEC is finally over as of August 7, 2025. Both sides officially agreed to drop their appeals, bringing the nearly four-year case to a close. The legal battle started back in December 2020 when the SEC claimed XRP was a security. Now, with no more court action ahead, it’s game over for the lawsuit.

The resolution brought legal clarity to XRP’s regulatory status. U.S. District Judge Analisa Torres previously ruled in July 2023 that programmatic sales of XRP did not violate securities laws. This outcome has accelerated institutional interest in XRP-related products.

ETF Filings and Enterprise Adoption

Bloomberg confirms 15 XRP-related ETFs are currently pending with the SEC. These filings span spot products under the 1933 Act and derivatives-based offerings under the 1940 Act. Major issuers include Grayscale, 21Shares, Bitwise, Canary, WisdomTree, Franklin, and ProShares.

Additionally, Coin Bureau reported Bank of America has moved all internal transactions to the XRP Ledger. The integration follows the launch of the REAL token, aimed at unlocking global real estate markets. REAL currently trades at $0.043 and is set to tokenize trillions in assets across the XRP Ledger ecosystem.
